Job summary

CACI International is seeking an Engineering Technician who applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve problems by interpreting U.S. Army, vendor manuals or similar documents.

Work requires familiarity with electronic repair practices, test equipment, tools, processes, and procedures. The role involves providing technical support for the AIRBORNE Electro-Optical Sensor Systems, including testing, evaluation, and comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent military experience.
  • Experience performing diagnostics, parts replacement, software reloading, testing and repair action reporting for Electro-Optic Systems.
  • Experience in reviewing, updating, validating test plans, maintenance procedures and forms.
  • Familiar with OSHA, Hazard Communication, HAZMAT and ESD Awareness Training prior to handling hazardous material.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for AIRBORNE electro-optical sensor systems including DAS-1 to MX20.
  • Prepare and update technical documentation including procedures and validation/verification.
  • Assist with lab maintenance, inventory and calibration tracking.
  • Analyze production costs and manufacturing problems; support QA audits.
  • Review technical specifications for procurements and assess design data for performance.
