Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa is seeking a Support System Lead to guide the development of an advanced airborne platform. You will shape a holistic Support System covering deploy, supply, operate and maintain, ensuring end-user needs are met in challenging environments.

You will hire and mentor a lean, high-ownership team and collaborate with customer stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and implemented. This role offers rapid impact and mission-driven work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or aviation-related field.
• 10+ years in aerospace/defense product development or design environments.
• Experience with Systems Engineering and operational environments.
• Eligible to obtain security clearance in US, UK, or Australia.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the design of a broad Support System (deploy, supply, operate, maintain).
• Hire, develop, and grow a focused hands-on engineering team.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to capture operational needs.
• Own decomposition activities to shape Air Vehicle and Mission Systems.
• Design, fabricate, and test equipment to enable rapid deployment.
