Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Installation Manager to lead dispersed field installation teams supporting FAA air traffic control systems nationwide. You will oversee field engineers, electricians, technicians, installers, and subcontractors, ensuring safe, on-time, and compliant execution of complex installations.

Responsibilities include coordinating regional work, reviewing drawings, planning risk mitigation, and maintaining communications with FAA stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience with some lead capacity.
• 10+ years of related experience with some lead capacity.
• Experience leading or coordinating field personnel such as engineers, electricians, technicians, installers, subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage field teams performing hands-on installation, deployment, site preparation, integration support, and related field activities in active FAA operational environments.
• Provide leadership and day-to-day coordination for field staff across regions and projects.
• Plan and staff field work, ensuring safety, quality, and timely execution.
• Assign personnel based on project needs, qualifications, and availability.
• Ensure personnel are trained, briefed, and equipped for assignments.
• Monitor progress against schedules, scope, and customer commitments.
• Review engineering drawings and installation packages for readiness.
• Develop execution and staffing plans, site readiness plans, and collaboration with internal teams.
• Prepare risk management and field planning materials to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with FAA and other stakeholders to support site access and field work.
• Lead site readiness and installation kickoff meetings and status reviews.
• Visit field sites to verify scope, safety, and execution.
• Produce regional and national status reports on progress and issues.
• Assist with installation deliverables and customer correspondence.
• Support budget tracking, schedule monitoring, and change order analysis.
• Monitor timekeeping and travel costs for field staff.
