Job summary

CI² Aviation, Inc. seeks an Air Traffic Controller to ensure the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic in a Visual Flight Rules (VFR) Airport Traffic Control Tower.

Under general supervision, the role performs duties independently, applying CTO and Class II Medical requirements, with a facility rating for at least two years. You will be responsible for IFR/VFR sequencing, runway usage, and coordination with arrivals and departures to minimize delays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as an Air Traffic Controller.
• Current CTO Certificate and Class II Medical Certificate.
• CTO with facility rating for at least two years in an ATC Tower.
• DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing required by employer.

Responsibilities

• Manage order of departures to ensure IFR/VFR separation and proper altitude.
• Coordinate arrivals, departures, and runway usage to minimize delays.
• Determine runway occupancy and sequencing for safe final approach and landing.
• Provide weather and flight information as needed and communicate with relevant centers.
