ROBINSON AVIATION (RVA), INC. seeks an Air Traffic Controller to manage safe, orderly, and expeditious traffic flow in a VFR control tower in Sacramento, CA.

The role involves sequencing departures, controlling runway use, and coordinating with arrivals and other controllers. Requires CTO or FAA tower credentials and compliance with DOT/FAA drug testing; full-time, in-person work with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• CTO Certificate and medical certificate are required.
• DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing applies.
• Holder of CTO with facility rating or FAA tower credential for at least six months.

Responsibilities

• Determine the order of departures to ensure equitable treatment and proper IFR/IFR separations.
• Coordinate runway usage, takeoff times, and arrival sequencing to minimize delays.
• Monitor radar and nav aids, advise pilots on frequencies and procedures.
• Provide on-the-job training to other staff as needed.

Control Tower Operator Certificate (CTO) with facility rating
