Air National Guard Units in Wyoming seeks an Air Traffic Control Specialist (Terminal) to provide tower, radar and non-radar ATC services to military and civilian aircraft operating under IFR, SVFR, or VFR.

You will direct aircraft movement, issue clearances, and adjust routes to maintain safe, orderly traffic flow while coordinating with other controllers. A Secret security clearance is required.

Formación

• High school or general equivalent degree is mandatory.
• An undergraduate academic specialization in a technical discipline with courses in administration and management is desirable.
• Must be a graduate of a formal DoD/Department of Transportation (DOT) Basic Air Traffic Control course.

Responsabilidades

• Provide tower, radar, and non-radar ATC services to military and civilian aircraft under IFR, SVFR, or VFR.
• Direct movement of aircraft using reports, visual observation and radar displays in coordination with other controllers.
• Formulate and issue ATC clearances to provide required separation and sequencing of IFR, SVFR, VFR traffic.
• Adjust flight paths and routes to manage arrivals, departures and traffic flow as prescribed.
• Direct and supervise controller actions in Tower and Radar facilities to ensure safe and expeditious traffic flow.
