Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience providing tower air traffic control services and issuing clearances/traffic advisories.
• Must have or obtain Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) and/or Control Tower Operator (CTO) certification.
• Background investigation and possible suitability determination required.

Responsibilities

• Provide tower air traffic control services, issuing control instructions, clearances and advisories.
• Coordinate with radar and adjacent facilities; respond to emergencies affecting flight safety.
• Relay flight data to local controller and ground control/clearance delivery; ensure separation and sequencing of aircraft.
