Job summary

The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking an Operations Supervisor responsible for planning and directing operations within delegated areas of responsibility in a terminal or en route facility.

The role provides first-line supervision to Developmental and Certified Professional Controllers and requires specialized experience, including FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or higher and facility rating or area certification for at least one year in an ATS facility; MSS experience is also required.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience is defined as: must have held FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters positions for at least 1 year (52 weeks).
• Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) at an ATS facility.
• Must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility.
