• Plans and assigns work for subordinates and sets work priorities and schedules.
• Approves leave and provides advice, counsel, and instruction on work and administrative matters.
• Evaluates performance and recommends performance ratings for employees.
• Hears and resolves complaints; refers serious issues to higher management.
• Identifies training needs and arranges for developmental and other training.
• Recommends goals and objectives for the area and tracks accomplishments.
• Communicates and reinforces EEO policies; supports labor-management partnership.
