CI² Aviation, Inc. seeks an experienced ATC Administrative Shift Supervisor to lead an assigned tower watch while performing controller duties. This role requires clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to keep staff focused during demanding situations.

The supervisor will set expectations, monitor performance, and support consistent execution of responsibilities. This position cannot be combined with an AIC or other contract key personnel role.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience controlling aircraft in Army fixed-base tower operations.
• Previous tower rating required prior to employment.
• Current facility rating before ATC duties and FAA CTO certification, AC Form 8060-1.
• Active Army Class IV flight physical documented on DD Form 2992.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for SECRET clearance.
• Valid driver’s license and availability for required shifts.

Responsabilités

• Direct watch assignments and oversee tower performance.
• Ensure coordination, crash-alert, and emergency calls are answered within 10 seconds.
• Support on-the-job instruction and document controller assessments (DA Form 3479-1-R).
• Conduct position qualification evaluations; biennial skill evaluations are excluded.
• Assist controllers during emergencies.
• Maintain facility records and personnel currency.
• Notify search-and-rescue resources of aircraft emergencies and report outages.

Position Overview

CI² Aviation, Inc. is seeking an experienced ATC Administrative Shift Supervisor to lead an assigned tower watch while performing controller duties. This position calls for a leader who communicates clearly, exercises sound judgment, and helps employees remain focused during demanding situations.

The supervisor sets expectations, monitors performance, and supports consistent execution of assigned responsibilities. This dedicated role cannot be combined with an AIC position or another contract key personnel role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct watch assignments and oversee tower performance.
• Ensure coordination, crash-alert, and emergency calls receive responses within 10 seconds.
• Support on-the-job instruction and document controller assessments on DA Form 3479-1-R.
• Conduct directed position qualification evaluations; biennial skill evaluations are excluded.
• Assist controllers during emergencies.
• Keep facility records and personnel currency current.
• Notify search-and-rescue resources of aircraft emergencies and report equipment outages.

Required Qualifications

Schedule and Assignment

Work is performed at Biggs Tower, Building 13488. Assigned watches provide continuous coverage throughout the year:

• Day: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Second: 4:00 p.m.–midnight.
• Third: Midnight–8:00 a.m.

Contingent Upon Contract Award

This position is contingent upon CI² Aviation, Inc. being awarded the Fort Bliss air traffic control services contract. Any offer of employment and anticipated start date will depend on contract award and fulfillment of applicable contract requirements.
