Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Project Manager – Air Quality in the United States to lead air quality permitting and compliance projects for solid waste and industrial clients. The role combines hands-on scientific analysis with project management, client relationship development, and regulatory consulting.

You will oversee air emissions, greenhouse gas compliance, environmental permitting, and regulatory assessments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of relevant professional experience in air quality, air permitting, and/or environmental compliance.
• Experience with air dispersion modeling, emissions calculations, and regulatory documentation is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to prepare technical reports and client-facing documentation.
• Willingness to travel and participate in field activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage air quality permitting and environmental compliance projects for solid waste and industrial clients, ensuring regulatory requirements and project objectives are met.
• Oversee air quality permitting activities, greenhouse gas emissions compliance, and general regulatory compliance for industrial facilities and solid waste operations.
• Perform and supervise technical work, including air dispersion modeling, emissions calculations, regulatory research, and data analysis.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate environmental permitting applications, compliance documentation, technical reports, and other regulatory deliverables.
• Evaluate environmental data and regulatory requirements to identify compliance issues, risks, and practical solutions.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion.
