Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to lead air permitting & compliance services across energy, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. You will manage projects, coordinate with clients, and ensure timely delivery of permit applications.

The role offers a dynamic practice with growth opportunities in our Environmental Services Global Practice, with travel up to 25% and a focus on regulatory compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Prepare air permit applications and documentation.
• Conduct environmental site assessments to ensure compliance with local, state and federal air quality requirements.
• Calculate and estimate routine emissions, greenhouse gases, maintenance, start-up and shutdown emissions.
• Work with clients and team members to manage projects, budgets and timelines.
• Assist with multi-media-based questions and document preparation, such as Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), SPCC Plans, and filings pursuant to EPCRA.
• Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to manage air permitting and compliance services to the power, industrial, commercial, transportation and manufacturing industries.

Qualifications

The Environmental Air Specialist / Project Manager will work within our Environmental Services Global Practice and perform the following duties:

• Prepare air permit application packages and associated documentation.
• Conduct environmental site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state and federal air quality requirements.
• Calculate and estimate routine emissions, greenhouse gases, maintenance, start-up and shutdown emissions.
• Work with clients and team members to manage projects, budgets and timelines.
• Assist with multi-media-based questions and document preparation, such as Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Spill Prevention,
• Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, and filings pursuant to the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA).
• Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
• All other duties as assigned.

Compensation

$130,000.00-310,000.00 Yearly

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
