Qualifications

Degree in environmental or chemical engineering required or preferred.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permits.
Proficient in Excel for emission calculations.
Ability to develop and write technical documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate environmental permit applications and related documents.
Develop permits, action plans and recommendations based on regulations.
Participate in site visits, data collection and investigations.
Review technical documents and applications for compliance.
Perform environmental calculations using established methodologies.
Provide technical assistance to regulators, staff and the public.
Assist in preparing environmental guidance documents.
