Maricopa County Air Quality seeks an Air Instrument Technician to install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ambient air monitoring equipment at field sites. Qualifications

• Two years of experience in electronic repair and maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Associate degree or higher in electronics, environmental science, or a closely related field is valued.

Responsabilités

• Install, operate, inspect, and maintain ambient air monitoring equipment including analyzers and sensors.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibrations per SOPs and EPA requirements.
• Document calibration, quality control, and instrument performance for data verification and validation.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex analytical, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Review data quality and instrument performance to identify equipment issues and improve data accuracy.
