Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Naperville, IL is seeking an Air Quality Engineer to evaluate atmospheric emissions from proposed processes and equipment for state and federal permit applications. You will perform engineering calculations and compile permit documents, coordinating with clients to obtain project information.

You will also communicate with agency personnel and evaluate control technologies for client facilities to ensure compliant, effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related fields.
• 0+ years' consulting, compliance, or industry experience.
• Previous internship preferred.
• Experience with atmospheric emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and pollution control technologies.
• Knowledge of New Source Review procedures.
• Familiarity with air compliance needs of the natural gas, manufacturing, or power industries.
• Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD.
