Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking an Air Quality Staff Consultant for our St. Charles, MO office.

You will evaluate atmospheric emissions for permit applications, perform engineering calculations, and prepare permit documents while collaborating with clients and agency personnel to ensure compliant, effective mitigation strategies. Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering or environmental science and 0+ years of relevant experience; internships are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related field.
• 0+ years' consulting, compliance, or industry experience.
• Previous internship is a plus.
• Experience with atmospheric emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and pollution control technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of New Source Review procedures is a plus.
• Familiarity with air compliance needs of the natural gas, manufacturing, or power industries is a plus.
• Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD is a plus.

Responsibilities

As an Air Quality Staff Consultant for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), in our St. Charles, MO office, you will work with a fun and engaging team of professionals to evaluate and present information regarding atmospheric emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications. Job duties will include performing engineering calculations, compiling permit application documents, meeting and coordinating with clients to obtain and understand project information, communicating with agency personnel, and evaluating control technologies for client facilities.
