Veolia North America is seeking an Air Pollution Control (APC) operator to maintain the APC train and ensure safe, efficient operation at our facilities. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and support remediation efforts while managing residual waste and operating rolling stock.
Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 0–1 year hazardous waste experience, and 40-hour HAZWOPER training. This role offers growth within a leading environmental services company.

Maintain the air pollution control (APC) train in a safe and efficient manner. Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to prevent inadequate scrubbing of acid gasses and to maintain the proper residual collections from the APC train. Manage site residual waste and assist the incinerator operator with troubleshooting and repairs. Know how to properly line up and start centrifugal pumps and how to safely Lock out/Tag out equipment. Inspects and troubleshoots the Ionizing Wet Scrubber, Wet Electrostatic Precipitator, Clarifiers, and Cooling towers.
