Job summary

Terracon seeks an experienced Air Compliance Permitting Specialist to lead and grow the environmental compliance practice in Little Rock, AR. You will own client relationships, mentor professionals, and guide the strategic direction of air permitting across industrial markets.

The ideal candidate has Arkansas air permitting expertise, strong technical leadership, and proven experience in permit applications, modeling oversight, and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or environmental discipline; Master’s preferred
• 10+ years of regulatory compliance consulting experience
• Strong technical writing ability
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel and Word
• Valid driver’s license with clean history
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour and 8-hour refresher preferred

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand environmental compliance services with a focus on air permitting
• Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables
• Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness
• Understand the local and regional market
• Develop strong working relationships with clients
• Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests
• Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies
• Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines
• Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations
