Job summary

Tallgrass Energy in the United States seeks a Sr. Engineer-Air Compliance to lead air permitting efforts for new projects and operations.

This senior role acts as a frontline resource for the Air Compliance Specialist position, ensuring compliance with the Clean Air Act and state regulations. The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have at least eight years of air permitting experience in oil and gas, with proficiency in MS Office and strong project management and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 8+ years direct experience with air permitting and compliance in oil and gas.
• Knowledge of the Clean Air Act and state regulations where Tallgrass assets operate.
• Experience interacting with federal, state and local agencies on air permitting.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Work with air permitting professionals to provide system-wide support for compliance.
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage timely air permits and related requirements.
• Perform emission calculations and inventories.
• Conduct regulatory applicability analyses at state and federal level.
• Interact with regulatory agencies, consultants, and operations personnel as needed.
• Provide technical support to ensure compliance with air regulations.
