Job summary

Air Mobility Command in the Department of the Air Force is seeking an Air Operations Specialist to plan, analyze, coordinate, and execute US Transportation Command airlift missions while developing policy and directives for airlift operations.

The role involves resolving issues, coordinating with USTRANSCOM and AMC agencies on planning and directives, and preparing briefs for senior leaders. Telework eligibility is available for this position.

Qualifications

• Top Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement all aspects of airlift mission schedules in support of Air Mobility Command and/or supported Combatant Commands.
• Develop complex detailed Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) for high-visibility airlift missions.
• Prepare briefs and reports on airlift operations support issues for senior AMC leaders and perform special complex projects as requested.
• Coordinate with USTRANSCOM and AMC agencies on planning issues and policy directives.
• Advise senior management decision makers on complex strategic and combat delivery airlift operations issues.
