Job summary

Hurricane Consulting Inc in Fort Bragg, NC, seeks a Material Expeditor to coordinate and control the movement of personnel and cargo for air deployment to CONUS and OCONUS locations. You will develop Aircraft Load Plans using ICODES, review air load plans for HAZMAT clearances, and collaborate with ITO, MCC, GLO, A/DACG, and the Aerial Port Squadron to keep air movement efficient.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and control movement of personnel and cargo through staged departure points for air transport to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Develop and complete Aircraft Load Plans using ICODES.
Review unit Air Load Plans, including Diplomatic Clearance for HAZMAT, to ensure compliance with weight limits validated by AMC and FORSCOM.
Coordinate processing and loading of personnel and cargo per deployment plans and aircraft schedules.
Collaborate with ITO, MCC, GLO, A/DACG, Aerial Port Squadron, and other agencies for efficient air movement.
Perform cargo and passenger dispatch, maintain aircraft status boards and tracking systems, and communicate updates to the Shift Leader and stakeholders.
Monitor deployment timelines and prepare reports including Wheels Up/Wheels Down for FORSCOM.
Provide deployment and redeployment coordination and status updates to supported units and partner agencies.
Complete AMO training, perform PMCS on equipment, and operate material handling equipment including a 10K forklift.
