Job summary

ENVENTION seeks an Air & Missile Defense Subject Matter Expert to support the IBCS air defense planning capability in Huntsville, embedding warfighter voice into the Army’s next-gen system.

You will lead systems engineering and software development activities, bridge engineer intent with warfighter usability, and help prioritize capabilities within SAFe while collaborating across engineers, testers, and domain experts to fulfill mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 20+ years (18+ years with a Master’s degree) of combined Air and Missile Defense or related engineering or tactical experience.
• Targeted Military Occupational Specialties: Air Defense Artillery Officers/Warrant Officers/Noncommissioned Officers as listed.
• Must be available to work full-time onsite in Huntsville, AL.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Appy subject-matter expertise gained from experience as a warfighter to inform IBCS development.
• Lead Systems Engineering and Software Development to bridge engineer intent and warfighter usability.
• Assist in prioritization of IBCS capabilities within SAFe structure.
• Collaborate with system engineers, software developers, test engineers, and domain experts to translate needs into functionality.
• Support integration with cross-functional teams to ensure proper interfaces and mission objectives.
