Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Helicopter Services Manager to lead the air medical transport program, ensuring safe, efficient, patient-centered care. Shortage staffing, scheduling, and coordination with clinical and aviation teams will be central to daily operations.

You will collaborate with regulatory bodies and management to maintain high performance, safety, and compliance with healthcare and aviation standards. A strong leadership background is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current or temporary ND RN license (or compact) required.
• ACLS, PALS and BLS certification required upon hire.
• Specialty certification in the area of practice is desirable.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the air medical transport program, including staffing and scheduling.
• Collaborate with aviation partners, clinical leadership, and regulatory bodies to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Monitor performance metrics, quality indicators, and safety reports; lead improvement efforts as needed.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and evaluation for flight staff; promote a culture of safety and high performance.
• Assists with budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning for helicopter services.
