Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a proactive RDL Network Administrator to manage day-to-day operations of air-gapped networks across multiple global design centers, including Richardson.

You will handle routing, switching, firewall adjustments, and local jump hosts while maintaining strict security and manual workflows. The role reports to the Lead Network Architect, with responsibilities spanning access management, secure file transfers, and compliance audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in network administration, IT, or CS.
• 10+ years of experience in network or system administration, preferably in secure laboratory environments.
• Experience with air-gap networks and hardening procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, performance and uptime of RDL hardware (Check Point Firewalls, SD-WAN, Cisco switches).
• Manage local VLANs, IP allocations, and switch port provisioning for multi-tenant projects.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, cabling checks, and firmware/OS updates within strict maintenance windows.
• Provide on-site/remote support for engineers and manage secure lab tickets per SLA.
• Enforce compliance by auditing for banned agents and maintaining asset inventory.
