Job summary

Google Public Sector seeks a Systems Development Engineer to drive installation, deployment and proof-of-concepts for air-gapped cloud solutions. You will enhance automation for deployment and validation, maintain secure access, and ensure stable operations supporting sovereign cloud services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years with Linux/Windows in compute infra and cloud solutions.
Experience designing, deploying and managing enterprise solutions.
Experience scripting to automate tasks.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current polygraph.

Responsibilities

Deploy and configure air-gapped cloud solutions like Google Distributed Cloud.
Install, configure, and manage network switches, firewalls, storage, servers, HSMs.
Deploy and configure OC IT infrastructure and local workstations for air-gapped clouds.
Collaborate internally and with external stakeholders on complex enterprise solutions.
Troubleshoot with engineering on infra/software issues during deployment.
