Job summary

Delmar International Inc. is seeking an Air Freight Import Specialist to coordinate and oversee international air import shipments from origin through final delivery.

You will work closely with airlines, carriers, and internal/external partners to ensure timely movement and fulfillment of client requirements. The role emphasizes maintaining shipment timelines, addressing operational needs, and delivering a high standard of service to our clients in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in air freight import operations.
• Post-secondary education in Logistics, SCM, or related field is considered an asset.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems.

Mandate:

Reporting to the Branch and Operations Manager, the Air Freight Import Specialist is responsible for coordinating and overseeing international air import shipments from origin through to final delivery. This role involves working closely with airlines, carriers, service providers, and internal and external partners to ensure shipments move efficiently and customer requirements are fulfilled. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining shipment timelines, addressing operational needs, and delivering a high standard of service to Delmar's clients.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in air freight import operations
• Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is considered an asset
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
• CargoWise One considered an asset
• Italian language proficiency is considered an asset
