Qualified candidates will leverage extensive experience in project management and systems engineering to identify opportunities and enhance Thales's business strategies. Air Force Strategic Analyst
Kentucky – Remote
Position Summary
The Air Force Strategic Analyst will provide expertise to the VP, DOD Programs, Surface Radar, Air Mobility, and Flight Avionics Business Lines with respect to the identification of strategic opportunities in US Air Force, taking into account the strategic vision of Thales.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Report on projects, potential tenders and other business opportunities in air defense, traffic management and aircraft modernization with the US Air Force, identify interesting projects corresponding to Thales’s capabilities.
Provide knowledge of the organizations and authorities involved in, requirements, acquisition, source selection, program management, systems engineering and life cycle program sustainment. with the US Air Force, on their strategies and their ways of initiating, planning and conducting their projects.
Contribute knowledge of the US Air Force to Thales marketing efforts, and in this respect provide information on competitors' presence and activities, and their products.
Guide and advise Thales in their business opportunities capture plan.
Identify budgets and their allocation, focusing on US Air Force air defense, traffic management and aircraft modernization acquisition plans.
Assist in defining the concept and implementation of the communication of Thales with respect of technical and commercial solutions, which might be proposed and provide inputs contributing to differentiate Thales from competitors’ solutions.
Propose ways of raising Thales’s image in training and simulation with the US Air Force and assist in communicating with stakeholders and authorities.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD degree in appropriate discipline
20 years’ experience in Air Force, requirements, acquisition, source selection, systems engineering and life cycle program management.
5-8 years’ experience in Air Force test and evaluation
