Job summary

Kearney & Company in Dayton, OH is seeking an Air Force Data Entry Analyst to support SAF/FMFO Air Force Accounting Policy and Operations. The role involves entering disbursement transactions and interacting with AF Commands and bases.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of related experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to brief senior leaders. Travel up to 25% and U.S. Secret clearance (citizenship) required. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Navigate AF accounting systems and feeder systems to perform data entry and/or data correction.
• Analyze financial data using Microsoft Office products.
• Create and update training materials, including lesson plans and handouts.
• Provide training to AF Financial Managers via telephone, video-teleconference, webinar, or on-site visit.
• Support SAF/FMF teams in surge and end-of-year processes.
• Offer targeted assistance to users based on metrics and data analysis results.

Job description

Kearney & Company is currently seeking an Air Force (AF) Data Entry Analyst to join our team in Dayton, OH and various other locations in the U.S. for SAF/FMFO Air Force Accounting Policy and Operations. The successful candidate will serve and interact with AF Commands and bases in support of the day-to-day operations of Financial Management. The candidate will input necessary transactions to account for disbursements made by Air and Space Force personnel. They should demonstrate impeccable attention to detail as well as solid functional end-to-end AF Financial Management experience. Additional responsibilities include:

• Ability to navigate AF accounting systems as well as feeder systems to perform data entry and/or data correction
• Ability to analyze financial data using Microsoft Office products
• Ability to utilize automated methods to create and update training materials, to include lesson plans, handouts, and others
• Provide ad hoc and on-the-job training to AF Financial Managers via telephone, video-teleconference, webinar, or on-site visit (when local), to include general training for new users and functional problem areas
• Provide support to the other teams within SAF/FMF, e.g., surge and end of year processes
• Provide targeted assistance to users based on metrics, recurring critical task results, and results of other data analysis

The expected salary range for this position is between $48,000 and $55,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
