The U.S. Air Force is seeking a developmental level professional auditor under the PALACE Acquire (PAQ) program. This internship is centrally managed and funded by the Air Force Personnel Center, Civilian Career Management Directorate, and administered by the Audit Career Program.

Position locations may vary from listed sites. Interns perform routine tasking in audit planning, research, data analysis, and reporting, with probationary requirements and potential for relocation as training

Qualifications

• Citizenship required: U.S. Citizenship
• Selective Service registration for males
• Security clearance may be required
• Employee must maintain current certifications

Responsibilities

• Performs routine audit planning, research, scheduling and coordination tasks
• Gathers and reviews background information on auditable organizations
• Executes portions of standardized audit tasks under established conditions
• Participates in data analysis, conclusions, and preparation of audit reports
• Undertakes special projects aligned with training plans in the Audit Community
