Job summary

ManTech seeks a motivated Application Developer to join the Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB and grow within the organization. The role supports 53rd WTSS contract, developing tools and applications for technicians, engineers, planners and managers.

The candidate will design, develop, and maintain web apps, build dashboards in Envision or SharePoint, and collaborate across teams while meeting DoD security requirements. US citizenship and security clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (2 years experience may substitute).
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with database planning, creation & modification including SQL.
• Web app coding: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery; server side: ColdFusion or similar.
• MS Office applications used for planning/communication.
• VBA or mobile app development experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, develop, test, launch, and maintain web-based applications.
• Apply business process modelling and project management to satisfy users’ needs.
• Use client/server languages (e.g., HTML/CSS/JS/SQL/ColdFusion) as a foundation to grow.
• Communicate effectively to plan, coordinate, and complete complex assignments.
• Build dashboards in Envision or SharePoint to aid leadership decisions.
