Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Data Technician to join our Air Force/Army team at Eglin AFB. This is an onsite position supporting the 53rd Wing Technical Support Services contract.

Responsibilities include data collection, pre-processing, archiving, data validation, and supporting flight operations with media inventory and debriefs. A Secret clearance is required; DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (or equivalent: 2 years of additional experience in lieu of degree).
• 2+ years direct/related experience.
• Ability to organize and compile data as needed.
• Background in Avionics preferred.
• Must have a current/active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Data collection (real-time, post, and truth data), data pre-processing, data reduction, data archiving, and meeting data deliverables.
• Troubleshooting missing data and malfunctioning network systems.
• Manage aircraft media inventory, media formatting and ensuring media availability for flight operations.
• Ingest, catalog, and validate flight data.
• Set up Aircrew Mission Debriefs with Pilots, Intel, and Analysts.
• Write customized procedures and user guidance for Data Tech tasks.
• Perform setup/teardown of essential systems for deployment/temporary duty; handle other hardware/software tasks.
