Job summary

TemPositions Logistics is seeking an Air Export Coordinator for a temp-to-hire role located near JFK Airport in New York. The position focuses on learning Ocean Export within a growing logistics company, handling quotes, booking shipments, and coordinating pickups with carriers and warehouses.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in air export, strong communication skills, and a team-player attitude. Experience with CargoWise is a plus but not required; customer and vendor communications are key daily

Qualifications

• 2+ years of air export experience required.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Familiarity with air freight documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer quotes.
• Negotiate rates with airlines and carriers.
• Book shipments with carriers.
• Coordinate pickups and warehouse activity.
• Prepare airway bills and export documentation.
