Expeditors International in Seattle is seeking an entry-level Air Export Clerk to manage shipments end to end, ensuring accurate documentation, system updates, and close coordination with customers, airlines, and internal teams.

You will handle booking to delivery, data entry, tracking, and timely billing, while upholding company policies and delivering excellent customer service. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential as you grow with a Fortune 500 logistics leader.

• 6 months–1 year of relevant experience or equivalent training.

Responsabilidades

• Managing the air export process from booking to delivery.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
• Track and trace Air Export files via exp.o or airline websites, or by telephone.
• Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers for Import shipments.
• Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.
• Interact with customers in arranging international shipments, meeting service standards.
• Meet company standard of 52 training hours per year per employee.
• Promote compliance with all company policies and regulations with integrity.

Job Description

Job Summary:

In this role, you will manage air export shipments end to end, ensuring accurate documentation, system updates, and close coordination with customers, airlines, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the air export process from booking to delivery
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
• Track and trace Air Export files as required. This can be either internally via exp.o or externally via airline websites or by telephone to airline offices.
• Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers for Import shipments.
• Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.
• Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.
• Meets company standards of 52 hours training per year per employee.
• Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• 6 months–1 year of relevant experience (or equivalent training)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good Education- preferably to A Level standard. Minimum GCSE Maths and English.
