Expeditors in Hazelwood, Missouri is seeking an Air Export Lead Agent to coordinate international shipments with precision and a customer-first approach.

You will arrange air export movements, prepare export documentation, and collaborate with carriers to secure space while ensuring compliance, billing accuracy, and timely data entry. Responsibilities

• Arrange Air Export shipments, ensuring timely movement of freight and exceptional customer service.
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Prepare various documents for international transportation.
• Coordinate and negotiate rates with contracted vendors for space and services.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
• Ensure accurate data entry into operating system.
• Interact with customers arranging international exports meeting standards.
• Comply with OPS and external regulations.
• Understand department process flow and improve efficiency.
• Follow customers' SOPs per DLSOP.
• Work with team to meet KPI standards.
• Monitor shipment reports to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Description

Scope of Position: Arrange Air Export shipments, while ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight, while providing an exceptional customer service.

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Prepare various documents for international transportation.
• Coordinate and negotiate rates with our contracted vendors in procuring space and services.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
• Interact with our customers in arranging their international export shipments, meeting customer service standards.
• Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer policies / requirements.
• Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.
• Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed as per the DLSOP.
• Work with the team on meeting KPI standards, as per the company's procedures.
• Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction

Qualifications
