Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking a motivated team member to manage Air Export shipments and ensure timely movement of freight with exceptional customer service. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and collaboration in a global logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Arrange Air Export shipments and ensure timely movement of freight with excellent customer service.
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Prepare various documents for international transportation.
• Coordinate and negotiate rates with contracted vendors for space and services.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
• Enter data accurately into the operating system.
• Interact with customers arranging international export shipments and meet service standards.
• Follow OPS and regulatory requirements and external policies.
• Understand department process flow and seek efficiency improvements.
• Follow customers' standard operating procedures per the DLSOP.
• Collaborate with the team to meet KPI standards.
• Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction.
• Overseas communications.

Job Description

Scope of Position:

Arrange Air Export shipments, while ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight, while providing an exceptional customer service.

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Prepare various documents for international transportation.
• Coordinate and negotiate rates with our contracted vendors in procuring space and services.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
• Interact with our customers in arranging their international export shipments, meeting customer service standards.
• Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer policies / requirements.
• Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.
• Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed as per the DLSOP.
• Work with the team on meeting KPI standards, as per the company's procedures.
• Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction
• Overseas communications
