Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking a Software Engineering Lead for the Air Defense Engineering Team. You will own the operational aspects of a large software engineering team and partner with engineering leads to optimize and scale team output toward business goals.

You will mentor a small team of engineers, drive sprints and releases, and collaborate with internal and external partners to build autonomous systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong background in software development and architecture.
• Experience with C++, Rust, Python, and Golang.
• Proven track record leading software teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead software sprints and drive release readiness across multiple sprint teams.
• Mentor engineers to foster strong development processes and scale future leaders.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to enable rapid development and deployment of autonomous systems.
• Define roadmaps for the Air Defense Software team and align staffing with goals.
• Drive program execution and track progress across groups of software teams.
