Architect of the Capitol in Washington, DC is seeking an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic Worker to service and repair air conditioning and refrigeration equipment within the Mechanical Systems Division. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with potential flexibility during core hours; the role is emergency essential.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Install, repair and modify air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems that regulate climatic conditions.
• Connect and perform routine maintenance or repair work on power sources of various cooling units.
• Tighten connections, make splices and insulate exposed wires; examine system for proper operation.
• Replace belts, fans and fuses; clean and lubricate moving parts of equipment; replace compressors and related components.
• Check for proper temperatures, proper operation of the refrigeration cycle, lubricant levels and any defects; perform other related duties as assigned.
