Job summary

Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC invites applications for in-person adjunct positions for the fall and spring semesters. These roles are based at the Thornley Campus for the Spring term and will teach courses related to the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program.

Job Responsibilities

Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC invites applications for in-person adjunct positions for the fall and spring semesters. These positions are based at TTC's Thornley Campus for the Spring27 semester.

Preference may be given to applicants with previous teaching experience and who are available to teach in-person at other TTC campuses or sites. Trident Technical College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach at the Thornley Campus.

These positions will teach and provide hands‑on training for courses related in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

These positions require a high school diploma and a minimum of five (5) years of "hands on" industry related field experience within the last 10 (ten) years and a section 608 universal EPA certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with an earned associate degree in air conditioning and refrigeration mechanics or a closely related field are highly desirable. Prior teaching experience in an education setting or training experience within the industry is desirable. Excellent interpersonal and customer skills are essential to the success of these positions.
