Job summary

TRAK Machine Tools (TMT) is seeking an assembler for its Compton, CA facility. The role involves assembling components and assemblies in a clean, air-conditioned area, following time and quality standards, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Proficient in the use of hand/power tools and measuring instruments.
Good mechanical skills and able to follow written work instructions.
Possess good written, verbal and interaction skills necessary to work both independently and cooperatively.

Responsibilities

Assemble components and assemblies per TRAK Machine Tools’ engineering, quality, and time standard specifications.
Maintain TRAK Machine Tools’ quality standards and follow written work instructions.
Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
Work with supervisor to implement ways to improve processes.
Lift objects up to 40 pounds during assembly.
