Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Compressor Service Technician to support customers across the Toledo, OH area. This field-based role focuses on industrial compressed air systems in manufacturing sectors.

You will troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain rotary screw, oil-free, and oil-flooded air compressors, diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and build strong customer relationships. A company vehicle and extensive training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults on industrial air systems.
• Experience servicing rotary screw, oil-free, and/or oil-flooded air compressors is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

I have a new opportunity with a leading industrial equipment company for an experienced Compressor Service Technician supporting customers throughout the Toledo, OH area. This is a field-based role working on industrial compressed air systems across the technology, semiconductor, and advanced manufacturing industries.

The Role

• Troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain industrial air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on compressed air systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
• Recommend repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance solutions to customers.
• Complete service reports and maintain service vehicle inventory.
• Build strong customer relationships while delivering excellent field service.

What They’re Looking For

• Experience servicing rotary screw, oil-free, and/or oil-flooded air compressors (required).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial rotating equipment is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently in the field.
