Job summary

Fairweather, LLC is seeking an Air Compressor Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on compressors and related equipment while delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities include airend rebuilds, diagnosing equipment, and providing technical support.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a team, and possess basic electrical knowledge.

Qualifications

Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a team environment.
Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and maintenance equipment.
Knowledge of compressors or pneumatic systems preferred; basic electrical knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform airend rebuilds, equipment overhauls, and mechanical repairs on compressors, blowers, and vacuum pumps.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, and repair industrial equipment.
Balance rotor assemblies to specifications.
Provide technical support in person and over the phone.
Maintain high standards of safety, quality control, and proper use of PPE.
Ensure tools and equipment are clean, calibrated, and in good working order.
Complete work orders, service reports, and maintenance records accurately and on time.
Maintain shop cleanliness and assist in training other technicians.
Support customer satisfaction and identify sales opportunities.
