Job summary

ACF, Inc is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Air Compressor Division to troubleshoot and repair a variety of compressor makes and models. The role includes shop and field repairs, preventative maintenance, and interpreting manuals and schematics.

The position requires travel to customer sites, occasional overnight stays, and the ability to work overnight shifts. Candidates should have 5–7 years of related experience and a strong mechanical/electrical skill set.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5 to 7 years of related work experience or training.
• Experience with major compressors (Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, Quincy, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on compressed air systems.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during and after hours.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on compressors and components.
• Read manuals and electrical schematics to guide maintenance tasks.
• Drive to job sites and travel as needed; overnight travel may be required.
