Job summary

Par Pacific in Kapolei, Hawaii is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support our downstream energy operations. You will balance independent project management with data reporting to ensure environmental compliance and drive regulatory projects related to air emissions.

Reporting to the Environmental Manager, you will guide refinery personnel in best practices, maintain CEMS/LDAR programs, and serve as a liaison with USEPA and state agencies while advancing our Humble Serving Communities

Qualifications

• Four+ years in environmental compliance in refining or industrial manufacturing.
• Air compliance experience required (minimum two years).
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset; able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit environmental compliance reports.
• Maintain compliance plans and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate sampling, testing, invoices, and recordkeeping.
• Minimize environmental risk and costs to refinery.
• Be on-call for startups, shutdowns, or malfunctions.
