Menzies Aviation is hiring for a Cargo Warehouse Handling role at our Philadelphia location. You’ll receive, store, build up pallets, breakdown, and distribute freight while following all safety policies.

candidates must pass FBI background checks, read/write/speak English, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift 75 pounds. You’ll undergo security screenings and background verifications as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and perform basic math calculations.
• Must have a current driver’s license with no violations over the past 5 years.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds on a continuous basis.
• All hires undergo security clearances (10-year criminal background check), 5 years employment and educational verification, drug screen and physical test.

Responsibilities

• Reads air waybill, bills of lading, or freight manifest to determine items to be moved.
• Conveys freight from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas with forklift or transporter.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distributes items to other locations.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers for breakdown; records count of items received or distributed.
• Weighs and counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to standards.
