Job summary

Amazon Aviation Security (AvSec) seeks an Operations Shift Manager to lead a new air cargo compliance program. You will supervise examination officers, oversee RACA and Dangerous Goods handling, and drive a culture of security and operational excellence across a fast-growing network.

You will collaborate with Operations, Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention and HR to ensure regulatory standards are met and performance metrics are tracked and improved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams and at all levels.
• Experience in fields such as law, customer service, investigations or project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of examination officers and Operations team.
• Ensure full compliance with RACA security program requirements and DG handling.
• Conduct audits and security assessments to verify procedures and regulatory standards.
• Communicate security policies and provide awareness and guidance to partner teams.
• Track, report on key performance metrics and drive operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to achieve shared objectives.
