Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services in Seattle is seeking a Ramp Clerk to load and unload cargo, move freight on the ramp, and assist with aircraft ground handling. You will operate equipment and support safe, efficient cargo operations in a busy airport environment.

This role requires physical stamina, working in a high-noise setting, lifting up to 70 lbs, and a commitment to security and safety procedures. A valid driver’s license and English proficiency are essential, with TWU union participation

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with TWU.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo weighing up to 70 lbs. to/from aircraft.
• Drive vehicles with weights up to 80,000 lbs. in congested areas.
• Assist with aircraft push-back and hand signal communications.
• Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft; read load sheets.
