Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is seeking a Ramp/Warehouse Agent to handle loading/unloading cargo and movement between terminals and aircraft. You will operate equipment, read cargo sheets, and follow strict security procedures to ensure safe, on-time airport operations.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, driving various cargo vehicles, and working in a high-noise environment. HS diploma or GED, valid license, and weekend availability are expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully communicate with others.
• Ability to read, write, fluent English speaking and understanding.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.
• Pull, push, and lift bags weighing up to 70 lbs. onto or from a conveyor belt.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload aircraft of cargo weighing up to 70 lbs. in and out of aircraft within confined cargo areas.
• Transport cargo to and from aircraft driving 3,000 lb. vehicle using depth perception to negotiate vehicle with attached carts through congested area.
• Driving vehicles with gross weights of 3,000 to 80,000 lbs. in areas congested with aircraft, moving and stationary vehicles and equipment.
• Engage in push-out of aircraft driving 80,000 lb. vehicle or assist by providing guide function to driver.
• Read off-load sheets to determine destination of cargo.
• Remain cognizant of site security procedures and report security breaches.
