Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a proven Operations Supervisor to oversee traffic office, warehouse and ramp operations at our Indianapolis-area facility. You will resolve service failures, implement improvements, and report to the General Manager while ensuring customer expectations are met daily.

You will lead managers and staff, monitor performance, and coordinate all warehouse and ramp activities. Weekend and holiday work, weather readiness, and lifting up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cargo and ramp operations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.
• Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee traffic office, warehouse and ramp operations management.
• Resolve service failures and implement corrective and preventative measures.
• Report to the General Manager.
• Respond to customer concerns via email daily.
• Monitor and review managers’ performance.
• Monitor and review staff productivity.
• Manage, plan and control all elements of warehouse and ramp activities.
• Oversee office management and ensure customers’ expectations are met.
