Job summary

USA Jet, part of Ascent Global Logistics, is seeking a Loadmaster to support air cargo operations at Willow Run area. You will oversee ground handling, loading, securing cargo, and compliance with FAA and TSA requirements while supervising ground crews and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires prior loadmaster experience, on-demand cargo operations knowledge, and the ability to travel. A valid driver’s license, passport, and CANPASS eligibility are needed to support international

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience as a civilian or military Loadmaster preferred.
• Experience in on-demand cargo operations highly preferred.
• Fork-lift operating experience preferred.
• Pass an FAA drug and alcohol screening with CHRC/STA as required by TSA.
• Hold a valid state issued Driver’s License.
• Must travel for work.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and have a 3-year US/Canada employment history.
• Must obtain CANPASS for expedited Canadian customs.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground operations in accordance with 14 CFR Part 121 operation specifications.
• Ensure cargo and COMAT are inspected, packaged, labeled, loaded, and restrained per policy and regulations.
• Verify accuracy of all cargo, dangerous goods, and documents.
• Supervise ground support personnel handling, loading, and off-loading aircraft.
• Perform TSA and customs tasks as required.
• Inspect and operate cargo loading equipment and report discrepancies.
• Keep aircraft cabin and cargo compartments clean and properly stowed.
• Replace unserviceable loading equipment as soon as practicable.
• Be available for 24/7/365 flight operations.
• Maintain qualifications and recurrent training for duties.
• Ensure timely end-of-month paysheets and expense reports.
• Participate in USA Jet Safety Programs and SMS, report safety concerns.
