Life Flight Network is seeking a Rotor Wing Pilot in Kelso, WA to safely operate aircraft for critical patient care. The role requires extensive flight hours, instrument proficiency, and FAA helicopter certificates, with shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel within LFN’s service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5 years’ experience as a professional pilot preferred.
• 2000 hours Total Time required.
• 1500 hours as Pilot in Command.
• 1000 hours R/W Turbine time required.
• 100 hours instrument time preferred.
• 75 Instrument hours total – with at least 50 hours in aircraft instrument time required.
• 100 hours of nighttime required.
• Pilots with air medical transportation experience preferred.
• Pilots with NVG experience preferred.
• Mountain experience preferred; evaluated case-by-case.
• FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Helicopter Rating required.
• Must have and maintain FAA second class flight physical.

Responsabilités

• Operates rotor-wing aircraft safely to care for critically ill or injured patients.
• Performs pre- and post-flight inspections; plans flights; assists in loading passengers, baggage, and cargo; analyzes weather conditions.
• Maintains logs and reports; prepares written reports; operates ground handling equipment.
• Travel throughout LFN’s service area as required.
